Qurna Farmhouse Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the most charming examples on architecture of the land.
The project is a place for spending the weekend and vacation time, actually it is a place for future retirement. The Farmhouse is located amid palm trees farm at a distance of 95km from Riyadh. The building has been designed in an overlapping manner with the hill, and has a breathtaking view of palm groves and mountains. The master level includes spaces for family living which gather around outdoor courtyard that overlooks the hill. The bedrooms in upper floors contain balconies, and there is a supplement area which is used as a guest house. The walls bearing the façade which has been built with the exposed compressed earth blocks (CEB) which have been produced locally plays a major role not only as a structural element, but also as a distinguished mark of the house, and these are decorated with arches, domes and basements.
